Gamer Doc™ Video Games Announces Open Class International Halo® 3 Tournament Store Champions

Winning Teams from Bear, Burlington, Highland Park, Miami and Springfield Stores Will Compete on May 30 for the $4,000 USD Cash Grand Prize

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., May 27, 2009 – Gamer Doc™, the retail video game store franchise that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, today announced the store winners of the Open Class International Halo® 3 Tournament. The five winning teams will face off in a double-elimination tournament on Saturday, May 30 at Noon ET for the grand prize of $4,000 USD. A $1,000 USD cash prize will be awarded to the second place team, and the third place team will win $500 USD.

The winning teams are: The BK’s from Bear, Delaware; The Burlington Braves from Burlington, Ontario; Team Relentless from Highland Park, California; The Hurricanes from Miami, Florida; and The Sloppy Joes from Springfield, Pennsylvania.

“The in-store tournaments were a tremendous success, giving local gamers the opportunity to meet face-to-face and show off their skills,” said Jim Belanger, president of Gamer Doc. “The real fun will be on May 30th when Gamer Doc store champions from the U.S. and Canada compete head-to-head for the great cash prizes.
