Cherry Hill Store Features “Pro Player” Room With 10 HD Screens

CHERRY HILL, N.J., June 29, 2010 – Gamer Doc®, the retail video game store franchise that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, today announced the opening of its first store in New Jersey, located in Cherry Hill. The store’s “Pro Player” room features 10 wall-mounted, HD flat-panel monitors optimized for gaming, and can accommodate up to 20 players for Xbox 360®, PlayStation 3®, Wii®, PC, or online games.

“Gamers are really going to enjoy the Pro Player room, because there is nothing else like it in this area,” store manager Lawrence Theckston said. “We are very pleased to bring a new and exciting experience to the gaming community, and look forward to hosting tournaments, birthday parties and other events.”

Gamer Doc’s Xbox 360, PlayStation and Wii “Gamer Centers” make it easy to find the games, consoles and accessories for each platform. Customers can buy, rent, sell, play, pick-up, pre-order or trade-in games, drop-off a disc or console for repair, their PC for a game download or repair, sign-up for an in-store tournament, or rent the Pro Player room for a private party.

Gamer Doc is more than a video game store; it is an entertainment center, also offering HD flat-panel monitors, cables and accessories, and the staff is happy to show customers how to hook-up their systems for the best game play possible.

Gamer Doc® Video Games Coming to Alabama

Huntsville Will Be Location of First Store in the State

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 10, 2010 – Gamer Doc®, the , the retail video game store franchise that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, today announced that franchisee Tom Wang has signed the lease for his store at 4925 University Drive, Suite 166, in Huntsville, Alabama.

“The Gamer Doc in Alabama will be our second store in the Southeast, and we are very pleased to be expanding our presence in that part of the country,” said Jim Belanger, president of Gamer Doc. “We have sold 20 stores in the two years since the company was started, and the Huntsville store continues our momentum and strategy of steady, successful growth.”

The Huntsville Gamer Doc is expected to open at the end of July or early August.

“Tom is a wonderful addition to the Gamer Doc family,” Belanger said. “He has a strong retail background, and understands that the customer experience is what sets us apart from other video game stores. We are excited to be working with him as we introduce Gamer Doc to the Huntsville area.”

Alex Marriam Celebrates His 11th Birthday in Style at Raleigh Gamer Doc

Gamer Doc video games prides itself on being a dynamic, positive member of the community, and when Alex Marriam held his 11th birthday party at our store at 10251 Little Brier Creek Lane last month, all of his friends kept telling him what a great time they had and what a cool party it was. One of his friends even called him a hero.

The party was such a hit that his mother, Angel, wrote to tell us all about it. In her letter she said, “The kids had an awesome time, the staff was great to us and made sure that the kids were all happy and we were happy as well.

“Alex’s party made him feel like he was in the spotlight, and that he was the center of all the attention, he went on and on all night. Thanks for making him feel that way, he has had it tough for most of 11 years. Our older son has been in treatment for a rare cancer and followed up for the past 10 years and was finally released from all of the doctors last year, so we’ve all had it pretty tough.

“This is our year of normalcy; we get to have holidays, birthday parties and a real vacation possibly! This party was a great start, so many thanks again!”

Alex’s brother Nick was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma cancer when he as six. He and his cousin Shelby McKnew launched the Nickelby Project, Inc. to collect items and make gift bags for kids with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Gamer Doc Coming to City of Cherry Hill

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., April 13, 2010 – Gamer Doc®, the retail video game store franchise that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, today announced the sale of its first store in New Jersey. Rylan Entertainment, LLC is the new owner, which plans to open the store in Cherry Hill at 843 Cooper Landing early this summer.

“We are pleased to welcome Rylan Entertainment to the Gamer Doc team, because they have some very exciting plans for New Jersey,” said Jim Belanger, president of Gamer Doc. “The Cherry Hill store is just the beginning. Over the next two to three years, they will be expanding the Gamer Doc footprint north out of Cherry Hill, opening four or five additional stores.”
