First Gamer Doc™ Video Games Store in the U.S.
Marks One-Year Anniversary

“Awesome” is How Customers Describe the Highland Park, California Store

LOS ANGELES, Calif., Oct. 13, 2008 – Gamer Doc™, the retail video game store franchise that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, announces the one-year anniversary of its first store in the U.S. Jason Renfro is the owner of the Gamer Doc at 5917 N. Figueroa Street, in Highland Park, California, where his customers all use one word to describe the store: “awesome.”

“It’s been an incredible year, and I want to thank everyone in the community for their loyalty and support,” Renfro said. “My business has grown steadily over the past year, because we offer what no other video game store offers. Our customers can buy, rent, sell, trade-in and pre-order games, drop off consoles or discs for repairs, compete in tournaments, play games before they buy them, and can rent our ‘Pro Player’ room for private parties or a few hours of game play. We have worked hard on doing things that really fulfill what the name means. We are truly a Gamer ‘Doc.’ Our repair service is second to none. I feel like I’ve earned a PhD in motherboards.”

Renfro is a resident of Highland Park, and his store is in a location he specifically sought out, because he wanted to bring something new and exciting to the community that would also contribute to the local economy. The store is eco-friendly, built from 80% recycled materials, with solar panels on the roof for generating electricity, and no plastic bags are used.

Store manager Mark Ragonese attributes Gamer Doc’s success to the fact that “we interact with our customers. We’re not just trying to push sales, but enjoy the relationships we’ve developed with people, talking to them about games, finding out what they think, and how we can better meet all of their gaming needs. Gamer Doc is a great place to work, because we love what we do, and have fun with our customers.”

Gamer Doc(TM) Video Games Going Strong
Gamer Doc Franchise Now Open in Raleigh, North Carolina;
Coming Soon to New Jersey and Michigan

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sept. 3, 2009 - Gamer Doc(TM), the retail video game store franchise that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, is going strong in 2009. The first Gamer Doc store in Raleigh, North Carolina recently opened for business, and franchises have been sold in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Grand Rapids, Michigan, which are scheduled to open later this fall.

"The Raleigh and Cherry Hill stores further extend our footprint on the East Coast, and the Grand Rapids store will be our first in the Midwest, which is very exciting," said Jim Belanger, president of Gamer Doc. "Despite the tough economy, our franchisees recognize that the video game industry is a bright spot in retail. Although there's been weakness in new game and console sales, cash-conscious consumers are spending money on game rentals, used games and console repairs, and Gamer Doc is the only video game retailer that offers all of those services."

In addition to the Raleigh store, there are Gamer Docs open in Bear, Delaware; Burlington, Ontario; Highland Park, California; Miami, Florida; and Springfield, Pennsylvania.

Gamer Doc features Xbox(R) 360, PlayStation(R) and Wii(R) Gamer Centers, making it easy to find games, consoles and accessories for each platform. Custsomers can buy, rent, sell, play, pick-up, pre-order or trade-in a game, or drop a disc or console off for repair. HD flat-panel monitors and cables are also available, and the knowledgeable staff is happy to show customers how to hook-up their systems, share tips on how to improve their scores, try out new games, and answer any questions they might have.

"Video games are the category leader in entertainment, because they offer the best value for the dollar, and are a great way for families to spend time together," Belanger said. "At Gamer Doc, we understand that video games are popular with consumers of all ages. We make sure that our stores are the place where all players - from hardcore to casual to novice - will keep coming back for all of their gaming needs.
