Gamer Doc™ Video Games Announces First Area Developers for Canada

Frank and James Bajc Plan to Open Multiple Stores

SEATTLE, Wash., Oct. 21, 2008 – Gamer Doc™, the retail video game store that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, today announced that Frank and James Bajc have joined the company as the first area developers for Canada, where they will direct store development in the metropolitan area surrounding Toronto. The father and son team plan to open multiple Gamer Doc stores in their area over the next five years.

“Frank and James are successful entrepreneurs, with many years of experience in owning and operating their own businesses, and we are very proud to welcome them to our team as Gamer Doc’s first international area developers,” said Jim Belanger, president of Gamer Doc. “We have great confidence in them, and look forward to much success as they lead Gamer Doc’s expansion into Canada.”

“Gamer Doc’s interactive customer experience is unmatched in retail, and all gamers, from hardcore to casual to novice, will enjoy their shopping experience,” Frank said. “Our Game Centers for Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo make it easy for customers to find the games, consoles and accessories they are looking for. Gamers who know what they want can come in and buy, rent, pre-order or trade-in a game, and be in and out of the store quickly, while those who are new to gaming, or want to browse, can take as much time and ask as many questions as they’d like.”

“Video games have become one of the most popular forms of entertainment across all age groups, making it the hottest sector in retail, and Gamer Doc offers entrepreneurs the best opportunity to be part of this trend,” James said. “In 2007, the industry generated a record-breaking $1.5 billion in Canada, and shows no sign of slowing down. The market continues to expand beyond hardcore enthusiasts, with sales increasingly being driven by casual gamers, women and senior citizens, and our goal is to make Gamer Doc the number one destination for all video game fans.”
